Full Time: Apex, Makeshift, Triage
Background / History
Three young supers in San Diego, new to the capes and cowl scene, band together to fight crime!
The group is still quite green and are in the process of forging a legacy for themselves
Group Relations
The group is still working out their dynamic, but basically Apex is the face, Makeshift the brains, and Triage the heart.
Tactics
The group doesn't have a leader as of yet; each member does as they think best. This may change as the team becomes more established.
Apex is the group's splashiest member, typically charging directly into combat to throw big punches. Makeshift does best staying within about 50 feet of the center of the action, off to the side a bit, where he can get good lines of sight and line up opportunities to use his area effecting blasts. If an opponent gets to close, his water cannon can usually send them tumbling away. Most of Triage's powers have no range so he needs to be close in, but his lack of mobility makes it difficult for him to keep up with a moving battle. He uses his pain projection abilities to make up the difference.
Though there are only three of them, the current line up of the team is actually pretty well rounded, with Apex as brick, Makeshift as blaster, and Triage having a number of unusual attacks and the ability to heal. However, the flip side of this is that since they don't have much redundancy, the loss of even a single teammate can be disastrous.
Campaign Use
PC team.
Public Relations
Makeshift and Apex have caught the eye of the public in San Diego, and have a small but growing fan following. Triage has yet to get much screen time and the subtle nature of his powers isn't as media friendly, so it remains to be seen if he gains positive public support or not.
Plot Seeds
  • This group of PC's can of course be used as an NPC group in some other campaign.
  • With slight background changes they can also be used as villains or mercs.
  • As NPCs they can also be combined with Aegis to make a larger, more capable team.
