Kor
|
Kor are found in the western region of the Danoshorvas continent on both sides of
the Dregga-Therakk mountains. Most Kor live their entire life within the confines
of their tribal existance, but some are more individualistic and seek adventure
outside of this existance.
|
|
APPEARANCE & DRESS
|
|
Kor are short but very sturdily built humanoids descended from the Var. They typically
stand between four and five feet tall but are very dense and weigh in between 250
and 400 pounds.
|
|
There is some variation in appearance among Kor of different tribes, but as a general
rule the Kor have leathery brown skin, black hair, blue eyes, and teeth yellowed
heavily by a drink made from the fermented milk of the Rocai herd animal that forms
the basis of Kor substinance.
|
|
The Kor-Daen tribe are an exception to this. They are generally better kempt, don't
dress in Rocai hides, wear a lot of heavy metal armor and carry well made weapons
of their own devising.
|
|
GENERAL CHARACTER
|
|
Kor tend towards the brutish and crude, with volatile tempers and a generally aggressive
survival of the fittest attitude. Kor have an incredible ability to shrug off defeat
or failure, often seeming to forget about such events entirely. While this makes
them seem idiotic at times it also means they take relentless to new levels of meaning.
The only way to truly defeat a Kor is to kill them.

ORIGINS & ORGANIZATION
|
|
Kor are tribal, and identify very strongly with their own tribe. Other tribes of
Kor are occassionally allies and occassionally enemies, and this state can change
back and forth seemingly at random depending upon circumstance, complex grudge accounting,
and a certain basic hierarchy of available opponents.
