Agent X can look like a male member of any subrace of humanity, although he does not yet have the ability to imitate the appearance of specific individuals. He is unsure what his own real appearance may be, or if he even has a true likeness. He usually takes on an average appearance matching whatever group is predominant in a particular setting. He can make his skin look tatooed in whatever fashion he likes when he makes a change, and often includes them unless they would be totally out of place for the likeness he is adopting.

Agent X can look like a male member of any subrace of humanity, although he does not yet have the ability to imitate the appearance of specific individuals. He can make his skin look tatooed in whatever fashion he likes when he makes a change, and often includes them unless they would be totally out of place for the likeness he is adopting.
Agent X instinctively seeks to blend in and avoid notice, particularly from authorities. He prefers to go unnoticed whenever possible. To do this he will adopt the general appearance, posture, and behavior of whatever group is convenient at the moment.
"Who me? I'm nobody special."
Agent X is genetically engineered and has a superior physique with many advantageous adaptions. He also has the ability to change his skin color and facial features allowing him to blend in with just about any human genotype. In addition to his natural abilities, he has also apparantly been highly trained as despite his amnesia he has an amazing breadth of skills including highly advanced martial arts.

 Agent X Dain
The man known as Agent X became aware of himself one balmy day in mid June last year. He was lounging on a park bench in Millennial City Memorial with a bloody gash in the back of his head and with numerous bullet holes that were in the process of healing even as he noticed his surroundings.

How he got there, where his injuries came from, or who he was were all mysteries. All he had to hint at his identity was a tattooed identification on his left forearm which said "Agent X" over some kind of symbolic code. He did some how know that he must hide his existance and beware of danger however. In short, he somehow understood that he was a hunted man.

Going to ground and blending in he drifted around the city for weeks observing and learning. He discovered that he had an incredible facility for speaking languages, and a few rough scrapes with toughs and thugs demonstrated that he was more than capable of defending himself. He spent most of his time wandering around meeting people and helping others in tight jams, going by a dozen aliases. His street level acts of heroism brought him into contact with many elements of the criminal underground, local gang leaders, and other fixtures of petty and violent crime.

Several times men in plainsclothes hunted Agent X down and tried to capture him, but each time he was able to escape, evade, elude, or elimintate his assailants and go to ground again. Eventually he realized that they must have a way to track him, but he is pretty sure that whatever it is the reception is blocked or at least baffled by him being near large groups of people as he was able to shake of pursuers on several occassions by mobbing up with crowds.

After almost a year of living in this fashion Agent X happened to be spending his day wandering around the Millennial City Zoo, a frequent haunt of his on the weekends thanks to the high population density, and blundered onto a strange supervillain attack lead by the super-growth villain Highrise and the dangerous international mercenary sniper called Ultrasonique. Without hesitation Agent X leaped into action to protect many helpless civilians from several dangerous creatures the villainous Highrise had freed from the large animal enclosures, such as various apes, rhinos, hippos, and elephants.

The gleaming metal centurion of justice known as War-Man, the hypersonic hero called Hype, and the galant gaurdian of the innocent dubbed Gravitic all arrived independently in answer to the general distress call sent out by the city. The events of that day are detailed here: Agent X's Exploits with the Millennial Men.

After the fight at the zoo and the harrowing encounter with spirit-enhanced and undead minions of the nefarious Papa Zombie, Agent X slipped away and was not encountered by the Millennial Men for a long time thereafter. Eventually John Wrath and his Millennial Men teammate Turbofist, who had not met him previously, encountered Agent X while struggling against VIPER.

Apparantly Agent X had eventually figured out that he was a VIPER-funded experiment that had somehow managed to break himself free but suffered a head injury that rendered him amnesiac (or perhaps the processes that gave him his strange powers did that), and the men that kept trying to capture him were plainclothes agents of VIPER. Following his instincts, the stalwart Agent X took the fight to them instead and became an effective and far-ranging anti-VIPER vigilante. During his personal crusade against VIPER he met up and allied on occasion with several other VIPER hunting vigilantes, most notably the duo known as Gunman and Chrysalis and the superhumanly strong Magnitude.

Agent X assisted the two Mill Men in their fight against the servants of the Serpent and then once again went his seperate way with his ally Magnitude.
