Michaila Bast is an attractive woman of indeterminant heritage, with dusky complexion and dark hair. She has a predatory and sensual look, both aggressive and feminine at the same time.

Michaila likes to keep her past to herself and maintain a certain mystery. She's been bumping around Hunter circles for a couple of years and has already begun to develop something of a reputation. She has somehow, against all odds, survived all manner of harrowing experiences relatively unscathed. She was even seemingly blown up and beleived to be dead but somehow reemerged later after washing up on shore.
Michaila instinctively competes with other women for attention, suitors, respect, and recognition as well as male companionship. She is predatory and capricious and has been known to break up relationships; she really likes the competition of going after "taken men", but once she has "won" she loses interest and moves on. However, if she is thwarted in her desires she can occasionally become quite ugly and out of control...a predicament which could get her Sanctioned one day if she doesn't keep a lid on her anger.
Why Michaila is a Monster Hunter is as mysterious as everything else about her. She seems to truly love the Hunt itself, and take deep satisfaction from her victories. The bounties seem to be of only marginal interest to her, as a means to avoid working a real job. She is at her best when kept on the trail of something, as she is totally focused when on the prowl and doens't engage in her normal divisive behavior.

Michaila lives in the moment, but for the hunt. She has little fear, too much curiosity, and poor ability to tolerate boredom.
