Mental Stunts

Stunts related to affecting the minds of others, telepathy, psychic barriers, and so on.

Mind Fugue: Because I have the ability to afflict the minds of others with mental confusion and temporary insanity, I gain +1 while Focused to create advantage on a foe within my zone to place the situational Aspect Demented Confusion upon them. The recipient may be compelled by the GM or other players to do bizarre and illogical (but not suicidal) things. The Aspect lasts for a scene but can be overcome via appropriate magic as a Superb (+5) difficulty challenge. The recipient themselves can also overcome the Aspect while Carefully Focused as a Fantastic (+6) difficulty challenge. This is a mind-affecting ability.

This stunt requires Focused +3 or better to use.

Psychic Blade: Because I can create tangible weapons of pure psychic energy with the strength of my mind, I may use Focused instead of Combatives when I fight with my psychic weapons.

This stunt requires Focused +3 or better to use.

Psychic Sense: Because I have preternatural and mildly precognitive psychic senses, I gain +1 to notice things that could harm me when I am Focused.

Psychic Shield: Because I can protect myself with a psychic aura, I reduce by one (1) all stress inflicted on me by non-social attacks if I am aware of the attack.

This stunt requires Focused +3 or better to use.

Psychic Sprint: Because I have mastered a psychometabolic discipline, once per scene whenever I move a zone I may choose to immediately move another zone for free and this does not prevent me from attacking. Alternately, if I do nothing but move I may use this ability to move four (4) zones instead of two (2). I also gain +2 while Quickly Focused in any contest or challenge that involves running fast.

Seductive Domination: Because I have the ability to take control of the minds of others by seducing them, while I am Sneakily Focused I can employ a vaneer of seduction or other predatory social wiles against a living target in my zone that I am in close contact with. Each exchange I continue my seduction I may make mental attacks against the target. Consequences inflicted by this ability pertain to my gaining increasing control over the target's mind. If the target concedes to me, the target must do as I command in general but retains enough control to avoid doing anything fundamentally against their nature (i.e. they may resist one of my commands if they have a relevant Aspect). If the target is taken out with this ability I assume full control of the target's behavior until they are able to recover from the Consequences. This is a mind-affecting ability.
