Description:
Watson Davies is a looming 6'6" 235 pound lamb-chop and lamee era Elvis impersonator, with a definant paunch hanging over his purple belt sash. He wears his hair in a boufant swirly spit-curl coifure, and litters his speach with "Uh-huh" and refers to himself in the third person by a variety of epiteths centered around some iteration of "The King".

He sometimes switches up his costume a bit, but for the most part he wears a silver lamee body suit with a gold-trimmed purple half cape, and golden acountrements. Plus some cool shades, of course.

PERSONALITY & MOTIVATION
The King wanted to be a hero, and isn't all that comfortable as a merc. On the other hand, he loves the fighting, and he likes the company. He'd like to "go legit," but he's not willing to do jail time for one or two little mistakes.

The King feels challenged by other martial artists, and will do anything he can to show them up. He feels a deep bond of friendship with other followers of Elvis.

The King thinks that he's an expert on China, Martial Arts, and Music but of course he isn't. He's basically a deeply delusional highly functioning idiot.
CATCH PHRASE(S)
"One fo' the money..."
POWERS & SPECIAL EFFECTS
Kung Fu Elvis is the nightmare of every serious Martial Artist. He has no real skill or training in true Martial Arts, or even just fundamental fighting skills.

Rather, the King of Kung Fu is a mutant with an enhanced physiology and a subconscious manipulation of Kinetic Energy that has the net effect of making him super-athletic and capable of landing punishing accelerated strikes. He has a wide variety of strike options available to him and is also quite agile, able to spring around with relative ease despite his large and somewhat portly bulk.

In combat he functions as a striker, avoiding clinches and staying "loose" rather than getting locked down in toe to toe combat with one opponent. He likes to dance around in combat (literally), and frequently belts out passably decent Elvis covers which can be somewhat disconcerting to opponents. He's usually able to put most opponents down with one or two solid hits if he uses the right Hand Attack, which belies his comical motif.

He is not as tough as many superheroes, relying on his ability to get out of the way of danger, and he knows this; thus he is not shy about dodging (and activating his DCV granting MP slot in the process) when he needs to.

If The King of Kung Fu is too powerful for your campaign, lower his Characteristics a little and reduce the reserve of his Multipower Pool. To make him more powerful for your campaign give him more defense, and add a few more classic "Wuxia" style cinematic Kung Fu bits.

ORIGIN
Elvis impersonator Watson Davis loved two things in this world: Hong Kong Martial Arts Movies and The King! Week after week he watched those movies, and when in his late twenties his latent mutant powers finally kicked in (he always was a late bloomer), he gained his second fondest wish -- to be a Kung Fu master of Wuxia Shaolin Ass-kickery! He could do anything, ANYTHING those Hong Kong Heroes did! He didn't even need wires and such! Why, he'd be rich! Better even, he'd be famous! He'd be like the second coming of Elvis, but as a superhero instead of a music icon! One day he'd have his own Graceland....Fu-land!

Of course, it just didn't work out like that. On his first job as a superhero he was stompin' some robbers making off with some casino money in a fashion that was sure to have made Elvis proud, and one of them there armored car guards had to go and insult Watson's sequined silver lamee body suit (with purple half cloak) and Elvis-worthy coifure!

Elvis wouldn't have put up with that, and neither would Watson! He smacked the guard a bit too hard and damn near took his head clean off. After that the cops came, and the Southern Knights, and now Kung Fu Elvis was on the run.

He needed to make some money along the way to fund his escape from the law and to keep his costumes up to snuff, and resorted to a string of robberies along the way to do so. He started off small and practical with quicky marts and the like, but eventually worked his way up to small banks and jewelry stores. Eventually he came to the notice of Enforcers Incorporated and began working occasional contracts for them. Watson sees Enforcers Inc. as a temporary gig, a way to make some money and kick some ass, and eventually to get back into a position where he can once again walk on his blue suede shoes back into the hearts of his (non-existant) adoring public. For their part Enforcers Inc sees Watson as a suprisingly effective delusional whack job; the Machine has no patience for him, but Unger is quite adroit at using well selected Elvis lyrics and trivia to manipulate and "handle" him.
