Player Classes

Druid

I am satisfied with the 2024 Druid overall. While I would have preferred a well-designed template model instead of bestiary shopping, I do think the temp hitpoint compromise and other adjustments and clearer rules text do a good enough job of fixing my main issues with the class in 2014.

As for the subclasses, I strongly like where Land and Moon ended up. Sea doesn't quite stick the landing for me thematically (is it about the sea or is it about storms?) but I don't feel strongly enough about it to make any changes.

I really like Stars mechanically, but my inclination is to re-skin it with starry forms corresponding to the zodiac of a particular campaign world, or otherwise variating upon it. The below Cirle of Annwn is an example of exactly that.

Circle of Annwn

The strange Druids of the Circle of Annwn are in touch with the fabled Sunset Lands, the realm of Arawn, home of the Wild Hunt, an abode of strange faerie beings and spirits of the dead.
