All known variants of the Multiversal Glitch known as the Abyssal Scion are a son of the Demon Lord Graz'zt. Aside from very minor cosmetic differences, each known variant have also been physically identical. They are the most consistent of the glitches in regards to their appearance, and variants are frequently confused for one another by those who have encountered more than one version.
However, while alike in looks, the variants vary broadly in outlook and personality, and while all of them are on the lower side of the moral and ethical spectrum they run the gamut from vile to merely selfish or scheming. A couple of variants are even basically trustworthy.
A common element for all the known variants is their individual relationship with their multiverse's version of their father. Some are aligned with or serve Graz'zt, others hide from him, and some oppose him. It is known that several variants of this glitch that encountered each other have cooperated temporarily, but inevitably they seem to turn on one another.
