Effect: Density is usually used on reactions to avoid harm or Complications, and to provide narrative justification for doing things that characters with normal mass are unable to.
At d4 Density a character can increase their own mass by up to 50%.
At d6 Density a character can increase their own mass by up to 100%. Additionally, at this step a character can step down Density and use it as if it were Durability.
At d8 Density a character can increase their own mass by up to 500%. Additionally, at this step a character can step down Density and use it as if it were Strength.
At d10 Density a character can increase their own mass by up to 1000%. Additionally, at this step a character can step down Density and use it as if it were Unarmed.
At d12 Density a character can increase their own mass by up to 10000%.
Common SFX: The Unbudgeable SFX can be applied to allow a character to step up and double Density for the purposes of avoiding being moved against their will.
The Collateral Damage SFX can be applied to allow a character to keep an extra effect die when using Density during an Action Scene and apply it as major structural damage to whatevever solid substance they are traveling across or as a Complication on the Scene.
The Dense Dermis SFX can be applied to allow a character to not step down Density when using it as if it were Durability.
The Massive Muscles SFX can be applied to allow a character to not step down Density when using it as if it were Strength.
The Solid Striker SFX can be applied to allow a character to not step down Density when using it as if it were Unarmed.
Common Limits: Using higher steps of Density can become a Complication for a character; this does not warrant taking a Limit.
The Always On Limit can be applied to indicate that a character always has extra mass and cannot turn off their Density trait.
