Effect: Leaping offers a direct mechanical benefit by increasing the number of zones a character can move during Action Scenes. Leaping can also be incorporated into actions as part of a 'acrobatic' attacks, and on reaction rolls where a character's ability to jump out of the way of attacks makes them more difficult to hit.
At d4 characters are able to jump a couple feet off the ground or a few feet forward or more with a running leap. This can help a character avoid ground hazards, gain elevation, and so on.
At d6 characters can jump about twice as high and far as normal.
At d8 characters are able to jump clear over a persons head, jump down off the roof of a single story building without harm, hurdle gaps of around twelve feet with a standing long jump and around twenty feet with a running start.
At d10 characters are able to leap several zones, jump several stories up or down, bounce around acrobatically in multiple bounds, and so on.
At d12 characters are able to jump ridiculous distances, up, down, and around.
Common SFX: The Acrobatic Attack SFX can be applied to allow a character to keep an extra effect die from action and reaction rolls that included their Leaping trait.
