Effect: Invisibility is typically used on reactions against Complications or attacks as it makes a character much harder to hit. It is also used to gain Assets or impose Complications on others by sneaking around and arranging things to the character's own best advantage. It is also used to avoid being noticed.
At d4 a character isn't really invisible, they are just mildly camouflaged and can't move without ruining the effect.
At d6 a character is well camouflaged and can move slowly while retaining the benefit of blending in to their surroundings, when conditions are favorable.
At d8 a character is invisibile to sight, but a slight fringe or distortion can be detected by the observant.
At d10 a character is fully invisible to sight, hearing, and smell; there is no fringe or distortion.
At d12 a character is also invisible to taste, touch, and most unusual senses.
Invisibility is opposed by Awareness and Senses. Additionally when an invisibile character offers opportunities, a common option is that they somehow give away their position temporarily.
Common Limits: The Pacifist Limit can be applied to cause a character to become visible again if they take an attack action.
The Always On Limit can be applied to indicate that a character is always invisible and cannot turn off their Invisibility trait.
The Monosense Limit can be applied to higher die ratings for a form of Invisibility that only works vs one sense.
