Appearance: Ketkis has the appearance of an attractive boy-man. Being Aranashi he is small, has a creamy yellow, almost golden complexion, and long, straight black hair worn in a pony tail.

He dresses respectably, prefering nuetral non-eye catching colors. He wears no armor and bears no weapons, and wears enough tastefully subtle jewelry to look affluent but not attract attention.
Personality: To serve the will of the Master, via the direction of the High Priest.
Quote:"A fine woman such as yourself should not be bereft of company on an evening such as this...."
Background: Asetmoseb Hatketkis was born in Kasaad and became a thief at a young age, helping his older brother Asetmoseb Nebtutbet steal from caravan wagons. When he was fourteen his brother got caught by a woman caravan guard from Shidaal, who promptly cut Nebtutbet's right hand of. Enraged, Hatketkis tried to leap upon her back from behind, but she heard him coming and easily whirled around and knocked him out. When he woke up he was in a slaves chain along with his brother, sold by the woman who he tried to attack. He never even learned her name.

His brothers amputated hand grew infected and he died on the way to Shidaal, leaving the heartbroken Hatketkis to soldier on. In Shidaal he was cleaned up and readied for the slave block and being an attractive lad once all the dirt was cleared away, he was bought by an aging woman of power who lived in Shidaal named Ulatha-Talora, to be her latest unwilling concubine. Unfortunately the woman became enamored of his fetching looks, and rather than tiring of him she kept him close to her for six years. During this time Hatketkis learned to say whatever she wanted to hear when she was around and make the best of his servitude. In his heart however he hated the woman. Finally he had managed to squirrel away enough coin by plying the thieving skills he had learned as a child to buy his freedom.

Ulatha would have none of it however and, becoming quite angry, refused to free him. In anger he slew her, and fled into the streets of Shidaal to avoid capture. He eventually fell in with the Cloakmen, the dominant underworld faction in Shidaal and his childhood skills were strengthened by the mentoring of a Shidaali Cloakman named Othis-Rahr, who took a liking to the young man due to his pluck.

Hatketkis was wanted for murder, but was known by a slave name friendlier to Shidaali ears, Hatke-kitsa. He soon was also wanted in his new identity among the Cloakmen, Ketkis, for the many daring thefts he pulled off with Othis-Rahr's assistance. Using his pretty face and experience, Ketkis would ingratiate himself with wealthy older women looking for companionship and then, after he was in the boudouir drug their winde and allow Othis and some other hand picked Cloakmen entry so that they could rob the woman blind while she was out cold.

This worked well with breaks between scores for most of year, but like anything else ran its course. The Trueblades laid a trap for him and came dangerously close to catching him in the act with a shill, but a Trueblade on the take managed to get word to Othis-Rahr in time and he in turn aborted the job rather than rolling the mark. The lot of them still barely got out of the trap alive, and worse Ketkis' face was now known to the authorities.

Taking his share of the profits he said his good-byes and departed for Kasaad, which he found to be a greatly changed place upon arrival. Even in 8 years since he was last there the place had grown. It still wasnt a patch on Shidaal however, and Ketkis had to turn to his pickpocketing skills yet again to get by. Eventually he was well known enough as a theif by those who make their business to know such things, and he was forced to move on to Zerlagaa in neighboring Landroth. In Zerlaaga he got off to a good start in his trade but was caught after an unfortunate bungle and brought before the Magistrate for justice. However, a powerful man in the local government interceded on his behalf and Ketkis found himself introduced, slowly, to worship of Tzoruul the God of Vengeance by his benefactor. Vengeance was something Ketkis could get behind, and took to teachings of the cult quickly, rising highly in the esteem of his benefactor, who as it turned out was secretly the High Priest of Tzoruul and head of the cult.

Ketkis eventually rose to such regard that he was favored by Tzoruul (via the High Priest) with dark gifts, the better to serve his master. He has done many things in service to the cult since joining them six years ago, and is prepared to do many more.

Powers/Tactics: Left to his own resources, Ketkis is a wily and agile foe, with a lot of street smarts and old school rules dirty fighting tricks. He is not a stand up fighter and will try to run from any altercation in which he is not at an advantage.

With his the Dark Gifts available to him he is a little more willing to stick out a fight, but will use his T-Port to bug out of any lost cause.
Campaign Use: Servant of the Cult of Tzoruul. Traveling through the Vold from Zerlaaga. Masquerading as the brother of Karptah. Has a magical crystal that allows him to commune with the High Priest w/ Concentration and time -- its a ruby that has been turned black somehow. It raditates Chaos sign if looked for, but only when it's visible.

Hides the fact that he speaks Machtig from all but Karptah.
