PERSONALITY & MOTIVATION
Timmy is a shockingly intelligent and just as shockingly shelted young man. Though he is actually 15 his small size and youthful appearance make him look much younger, and his naivety and tendency to ask odd questions reenforce the impression of a precocious 10 year old. However, despite his lack of worldliness he is very well educated and naturally intelligent.

Timmy is a naturally optimistic and curious person who generally wants to help others and has a wellspring of human kindness flowing in his heart. Unfortunately he has not yet learned to see the world in terms of shades of grey and has a childish tendency to view things as being all-good or all-bad.

POWERS & SPECIAL EFFECTS
Chitin is a massivly mighty and durable "brick" with limited flight and some misc abilities stemming from his unusual bettle-like nature. His tactics are generally simple; get on top of an opponent and bash them until they are knocked out.

Many people are surprised by the hulking and awkward looking bug thing being able to move so quickly and gracefully, and Chitin relies heavily on his physical assets.

ORIGIN
Young Timmy Lake is a 15 year old science geek that was bitten by a chemically altered mutant stag beetle while on a science class field trip! With just a few moments of concentration the cute young boy grows massively into a hulking and hideous man-beetle complete with a chitinous exo-skeleton and exponential strength! He can even pop out insectoid wings and take flight (erratically)! Though he has trouble speaking intelligibly due to his massive mandibles, the scourge of super criminals known as Chitin lets his actions speark for him!

Almost immediately in his "career" as a superhero Chitin encountered several super heroes while responding to a brutally violent Breaking and Entering call at a Biochem lab near where Chitin lives as young Timmy Lake, the latest in string of similar robberies across the Greater Mill City area.

Though the Biochem thefts never really got solved, Chitin nevertheless formed ties with some of those supers that layer coallesced into the super group know as the Millennial Men. Timmy hides his secret id and true age from his Mill Men allies, of course.

Despite his appearance Chitin actually has a very high intelligence, being a major science fair geek in his secret id, and sometimes catches people by surprise with his unbricklike planning.
