Angus is a rough, tough, gruff and hard as nails kinda guy. He's aggressive, imposing, and not very nice. Formidable is possibly the best description of him. No, wait, FORBIDDING. Yeah. Forbidding -- that's the word for it.

Whatever the case, he's been known to make people lose control of their bodily functions and whimper in fear after one of his sickeningly easy displays of crushing strength. He's not sadistic or anything...I mean its not like he gets off on being Mr. Scary. It's not an affectation or an act. He really is just that testosterone laden and gritty.

PIZZAZ
Angus is a Tuber that was blessed with almost unheard of physical resilience and strength. Almost unkillable, the towering fighter is menacing and dangerous. The combination of PharmiTech and Tuber genetic enhancement puts Angus near the max possible strength for a non-meta, and he was at the cap for a couple of years after taking Acceleron before the effect began to fade (see below).

Angus took Acceleron 6 years ago. The deleterious effects have almost completely faded off, but he is still enjoying a lot of the benefits of the long-term drug.

Angus is also a skilled free scaler, an ability he mastered working in heavy industrial construction, and he is able to climb scaffolding, pipes, and buildings with shocking ease.

Angus wears heavy armor on the job, which makes him into a veritable walking tank, and uses a Norn-Tek 630-G-CAT "Hand Cannon". Even without his armor he is able to take bullets to the chest and shrug it off, and he's twice survived getting shot in the head. Among his many genetic advantages is an ability to sustain and recover from a tremendous amount of damage.

ORIGIN
Of mixed Scottish and Samoan descent, Martine Angus Alau-MacGarvey was born and raised in Hawaii, but moved to the mainland to play pro-ball for the Hayward Hammers when he was 17. He was very successful for a few years until his temper got the better of him in a locker room altercation during the Semi-finals at half time, and he ended up beating the hell out of most of his own team to the point that they couldn't return to the field.

After the resulting media storm, gambling catastrophe, and general bruhahah he was summarily terminated from his contract and couldn't get hired on by any team in the PacFed league, or any other league, any where.

Out of options, Angus first found work doing manual labor for construction, which is where he learned his free-scaling skills. However after a few years of that the Acceleron fugue that had been clouding his mind for a number of years finally faded away enough that he could start thinking clearly again. Determined to get out of construction and into something more lucrative he first started pit fighting, and leveraged his early successes there to get simple bruiser jobs as a Runner. Proving his value on such lowly missions, he is finally ready to break out and do a job as part of a real Runner team.

What he lacks in experience he makes up for with sheer grit, and his imposing appearance is enough to end some altercations all by itself.
