Buff Spells

Spells that improve or enhance their target.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Charisma for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I am more likeable and charming than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Flashy for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Constitution for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I am more durable than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to absorb two (2) shifts of damage.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Speed for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I am quicker than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Quick for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

Arcane Spell (Blessing), Buff

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Intelligence for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active my mind is sharper and I am smarter than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Clever for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Speed for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I am faster than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to go first in an exchange or to move an extra zone and still attack, or invoke it twice to do both at the same time (this is an exception to the general rule about invoking an Aspect twice for the same action, as it does two different things when invoked in this way).

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

While this Aspect is active I am more stealthy than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Sneaky for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

While this Aspect is active I am much stronger than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Forceful for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Arcane Wisdom for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I am wiser and more intuitive than I normally am. I may invoke this Aspect to grant myself +1 Careful for three (3) consecutive exchanges.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called Expeditious Movement for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. I may invoke this Aspect to move one additional zone or to gain a +2 bonus to overcome obstacles to my movement.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Arcane vs a Fair (+2) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called At-Will Flight for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. While this Aspect is active I can fly at will. While flying I am unaffected by obstacles that I can reasonably fly over, and I can hover out of easy reach of the ground thus frustrating melee attackers. Additionally when moving one or more (1+) zones I may move one (1) additional zone. I may invoke this Aspect to move one (1) additional zone or to gain a +2 bonus to overcome obstacles to my movement.

Arcane Spell (Transmutation), Buff

Create advantage while Cleverly Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself or a person within my zone called Giant Sized for one (1) scene or until all invocations have been used. While this Aspect is active the recipient and their gear grow to the size of a hill giant, and they become stronger and tougher than they normally are. The recipient of the Aspect may invoke it to gain a bonus whenever their size, strength, and durability would benefit them.

Arcane Spell (Abjuration), Ward

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to apply the spell Aspect Protective Ward to myself or someone else in my zone. While this Aspect is active the person it is attached to can justify defending against harmful physical and magical abilities. Additionally, the recipient of the spell Aspect gains +2 when attempting to overcome mind-affecting effects. This Aspect may also be invoked to offer further protection when defending from physical or magical abilities. The Aspect lasts for a scene or until no invokes remain.

Arcane Spell (Abjuration), Ward

Create advantage while Carefully Arcane vs a Great (+4) difficulty to apply the spell Aspect Greater Protective Ward to myself or someone else in my zone. While this Aspect is active the person it is attached to can invoke it to justify using my Arcane bonus to defend against harmful physical and magical abilities. Additionally, the recipient of the spell Aspect gains +2 when attempting to overcome mind-affecting effects. The Aspect lasts for a scene or until no invokes remain.

Arcane Spell (Divination), Buff

Create advantage while Cleverly Arcane vs an Average (+1) difficulty to create a spell Aspect on myself called True Strike for one (1) scene or until all invocations are used. I may invoke this Aspect when making magical or physical attacks to improve my aim.
